Editor:

On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the staff of the Byron-Brentwood-Knightsen Union Cemetery District, I would like to extend my thanks to members of the Delta Informal Gardeners (DIG) for their help in beautifying the roses at the cemetery.

Between 15 and 20 members of DIG were kind enough to give up one Saturday morning this February to trim the dozens of rose bushes located at the cemetery. This type and timing of rose trimming will insure that the district’s bushes will grow out lavishly and beautifully this coming spring.

Thank you, DIG members, for making Union Cemetery a better place.
