“If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.” For the safety of Brentwood’s children and families, we must finish American Avenue and widen Balfour Road.
The county is broke and has ignored numerous requests. As long as the south side of Balfour to Deer Valley is outside of Brentwood control, the City of Brentwood cannot do any of these road improvements. Putting Brentwood in control by supporting Measure F in June is the only way these roads will be fixed.
Do not listen to the opposition and become “part of the problem” that risks the bloodshed of Brentwood’s children and families. Vote Yes on Measure F in June and be “part of the solution” for the safety of Brentwood’s children and families.
Fred Garcia, Brentwood

I'm so sick of the elitism that some Brentwood residents have. Let's not forget, before you bought your big foreclosed homes you were once Antioch residents. Don't fool yourselves, you suffer many of the same problems that Antioch has. Remember all that crime that is suddenly hitting your area? Stop blaming Antioch for all your woes.
Also, what is the point of expanding if you can't even fill the empty storefronts of your much lauded Streets of Brentwood? What about all the foreclosed homes? Is there really a need to build more homes that will just sit on the market? Let's say that the economy picks back up. Do we really want to add more to the congestion?
Where is the plan to create jobs locally? Instead of our communities being commuter communities, why can't we attract businesses like Dublin, Pleasanton, and especially San Ramon have done? We have a huge workforce here in our communities. Many people are traveling as far as San Jose to go to work. Our freeways and mass transporation are already inadequate, how much more if we keep adding homes?
Measure F is horrible and I'm sick and tired of people only interested in lining their own pockets instead of looking out for the community.
