Kids get free dental screening

First 5 Resource Centers invite children to receive a free oral health assessment and educational materials through a program sponsored by the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Program and Contra Costa Health Services Children’s Oral Health Program. Children will also receive a free fluoride varnish and toothbrush.

The clinics are open to those 18 and younger who have signed up at one of the four participating First 5 clinics. Reservations must be made in advance by calling 925-808-7360. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The service is provided Friday, April 30 from 10 to 11 a.m., and 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at 1736 Clayton Road in Concord. Find out more about the Children’s Oral Health Program at www.cchealth.org/services/dental/.
