The afternoon will feature food from local restaurants including Rosita’s Mexican Grill, The New Mecca, Little Manuel’s and Los Churros. Entertainment will also include exhibitions by the OPS Folklorico de Oakley, professional tango dancers Patricia and Warren Jensen, and OPS student performances.
The Cinco de Mayo celebration is open to the public. Admission is $2. Those who purchase $6 lunch tickets in advance get their admission fee waived. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 925-625-5060. O’Hara Park Middle School is located at 1100 O’Hara Ave. in Oakley.
