Congratulations to 2009 Freedom High School graduate and softball star Chrissy Stalf, who was recently named to the All-CCAA First Team.

A freshman at Humboldt State University, Stalf led the Lumberjacks with 34 RBIs and was one of only two players to start and play in every game this year. She ranked second in batting average (.369), hits (66), runs (27), doubles (12), total bases (92), slugging percentage (.512) and an on-base percentage (.426).

In 179 plate appearances, she struck out just nine times. Her 411 chances and 387 putouts were tops on the team. Her nine multi-RBI games led the squad and her 17 multi-hit games were good for second.
