After a three-week battle against complications from a cancerous brain tumor, Pleasant Hill resident Judie Threlfall passed away peacefully on April 18 with children and loved ones by her side.

Judie was the loving wife of Chet Threlfall for 40 years. Chet preceded her in death in July of 2006. Judie is survived by her daughters, Shawntel Lang (Eric), Stacy Watkins (Randy) and son Matt Threlfall (Tracy); six grandchildren and four brothers. Her sister Mary Ann Lucas-Blood preceded her in death.

Judie was a fantastic wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt and best friend. Her passions included cooking and ceramics, but her family was her number-one priority. She had a loving and giving spirit and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

A celebration of her life for family, friends and loved ones took place May 22 at her home in Pleasant Hill.
