Fishy Tales story time comes to the Brentwood Library on Wednesday, July 21 at 4 p.m. All are invited to come enjoy a flood of wonderful stories and put together a splashy craft afterward.

This free 45-minute program is geared to fishies big and small, and minnows under the age of 5 are welcome with an adult. Sponsored by the Friends of the Brentwood Library, the program is part of “Make a Splash” Summer Reading, which continues through Aug. 16. Reading records are available at any county library or online at www.ccclib.org.

Children and teens record their reading time to win prizes, and adults may participate by submitting a book review to be entered into a raffle for a book bag full of books plus gift certificates to Bay Area restaurants.

The Brentwood Library, located at 104 Oak St., is open Mondays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information about library programs, call 925-516-5290.
