East County residents are invited to spend an afternoon savoring fine wine while benefiting a good cause. The seventh annual Wine in the Bay party will be held on Saturday, Aug. 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. at a private home in Discovery Bay (the address is printed on the ticket). Proceeds from the event benefit the Women’s Fellowship of St. Anne Parish and its outreach, and support programs throughout the community.

The popular event will feature local vintners, brewmeisters, hors d’oeuvres, music, a silent and a live auction. Attendees must be at least 21 years of age. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.
