Carucci’s talk, “Seasoning to Taste – an Interactive Program,” will be held in the Mt. Diablo Events Center, located in Club Los Meganos, the newly opened, $19 million, 34,000-square-foot centerpiece of The Vineyards community.
Well-known on the Bay Area food scene, Carucci is currently chef director of the Culinary and Baking & Pastry for the bachelor and associate degree programs at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of California – San Francisco.
She is the author of the acclaimed “Cooking School Secrets for Real World Cooks,” which was honored as a finalist for the James Beard Cookbook Award and for the IACP Julia Child First Book Award. She is a recipient of the prestigious Cooking Teacher of the Year award (2002) from the International Association of Culinary Professionals.
Carucci has managed and cooked in many Bay Area restaurants, served as the private chef for a prominent San Francisco family, and owned and operated a successful catering business. For seven years she operated her own home-based cooking school, Linda Carucci’s Kitchen.
