Car washes to boost band

The Liberty High School Band will host two car washes in August to help raise funds for future band events and competitions. Donations of any amount are welcome.

Mark your calendar for one or both of the following dates, when you can support a good cause and watch band members and supporters make that sheet metal shine.

The first wash will be held Saturday, Aug. 7 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Loard’s Ice Cream, 7760 Brentwood Blvd.; the second on Saturday, Aug. 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ace Hardware, 8900 Brentwood Blvd.
