Capt’n Jack Spareribs makes his triumphant return to Brentwood for a special 45-minute program Wednesday, Aug. 18 at 5:30 p.m. in the Brentwood Senior Center, 193 Griffith Lane.

Capt’n Jack might look like another pirate you’ve seen, but he’s a swashbuckler like no other. Come enjoy mystifying magic, daring feats of juggling and hilarious pirate jokes. This program is designed for scallywags in grades K-6, but younger shipmates are welcome if accompanied by an adult. No registration is required.

Capt’n Jack’s visit marks the close of the 2010 Summer Reading Program, so don’t forget to pick up your prizes. This rollicking event is brought to you by the Friends of the Brentwood Library.
