Garaventa Enterprises has introduced a new Recycling School Program for students from preschool to grade 12.

The program teaches students the importance of recycling and encourages them to keep our environment clean. Students learn simple yet effective ways to help maintain our planet’s beauty for generations to come and are allowed to reflect and engage with ideas of their own. The grade-appropriate, 30-to-50-minute sessions, which satisfy the California Standards, expose students to the facts regarding recycling and provide interactive activities.

Mt. Diablo Recycling offers school presentations to all grade levels. The lesson focuses on the principle of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Presentations are about 45 minutes long and include interactive games and a question-and-answer period. Mt. Diablo Recycling also offers tours of its facility in Pittsburg. The 45-minute tour features interactive games on the three R’s: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Those interested in a school presentation or tour, or more information on the free Recycling School Program should call Nicole Adler at 925-692-2224 or e-mail nicole@garaventaent.com.
