Once again, Somersville Towne Center is hosting The Great Denim Days. Guests are asked to bring in new or gently used denim to be donated to a local charity benefiting underprivileged residents within the East County. The denim drive will take place at the center through Aug. 31. Items can be dropped off at the Guest Service Center located in front of Macy’s.

Donors will receive the center’s Fall Savings Guide & Coupon Book and a ticket to a special event honoring contributors. The free event will include appetizers and “mocktails” and the opportunity to visit the center’s “Jeanious Bar” for advice on the perfect jeans for each body type. Also, backpacks will be stuffed with school supplies for underprivileged children in the area. All volunteers will receive a special SWAG bag for partnering with the center and giving back to the community.

For more information or to RSVP, call Christy Bartneck at 925-754-5230.
