The strong running of Justin Dam, behind the blocking of Jonathan Castillo, Carter Lewis, Josiah Cerda, Adam Morris and Santiago Ramirez, keyed the JV East offense. Dam and Carter Lewis scored a touchdown apiece, and Spencer Rohrer rushed for two more.
Dogged determination by the JV East defense held the Pack scoreless. Led by Adam Morris, the line kept pressure on the Wolfpack offense. Key interceptions by Brooklyn Hardiman, Dallis Ocampo and Anthony Sunseri, as well as fumble recoveries by Morris and Marcus Bustos, opened doors for the East offense.
Despite an impressive output of effort and energy, the Patriots East Starts team fell short against the Delta Valley Wolfpack. In the first half, Jaden Harvey made a touchdown-saving tackle against the Pack. Trailing 6-0 heading into the third quarter, the East came alive and scored twice. Greg Filardo rumbled 45 yards for a touchdown and Blake Burke took it 60 yards for a TD to put the Patriots up 12-6. The Wolfpack answered with a touchdown and extra point conversion to edge the Patriots 13-12.
