Kayla Pakulski, Katelin Mathews and the rest of the third-grade classes at Timber Point Elementary recently doffed their favorite headgear in celebration of Lucky Hat Day.

The campus event was inspired by the popular story “Lost and Found” by Mark Teague. The tale relates the experience of some students who get lost in the Lost and Found bin at school while searching for their friend’s lucky hat.

We’re happy to report that no third-graders were lost in the retelling of the story.
