Writers put on Game face

September’s Open Mic Night, sponsored by the Brentwood Writers, will be held Thursday, Sept. 9 at 6:30 at The Game in downtown Brentwood. All short work – poetry, short story, nonfiction, or any other creative work – is welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring any work on any subject whether it’s their own or that of another writer, as long as it’s neither insulting nor abusive.

Everyone is invited, whether performing or listening and enjoying. The event, hosted by Diane Lando and Kati Short, is free and open to the public.
