The Rotary Club of Brentwood is at it again, doing good deeds in the community.

In its annual dictionary drive, headed by Rotarian Vicki Sexton, the club purchases and distributes approximately 1,600 new dictionaries to all third-grade students enrolled in Brentwood, Oakley, Knightsen, Byron and Discovery Bay elementary schools.

“The children have been delightful, enthusiastic and bright. This program continues to be my favorite,” said Sexton, seen here during a distribution.

Rotary is an all-volunteer, community-service organization. Funds are raised by three major events held throughout the year, then distributed back into the local community. If you’d like to learn more about Rotary, visit www.brentwoodcarotary.org.
