CSD Candidates Night

Candidates for the Discovery Bay Community Services District will square off in a Candidates Night event held on Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. in the Discovery Bay Elementary School multi-purpose room, 1700 Willow Lake Road. The event will be moderated by political columnist Lisa Vorderbrueggen and sponsored by the Contra Costa Times, Sheriff Warren Rupf and the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Posse.

T.E.A. Party Convention

The East Contra Costa T.E.A. Party presents the Northern California T.E.A. Party Convention at the Regency Center in San Francisco on Saturday, Oct. 9. For tickets and information, visit www.eastcontracostateaparty.org.

C.U.R.B. Candidate Night

Citizens for Urban Planning and Responsible Spending in Brentwood is hosting a Candidates Night for Brentwood City Council candidates on Oct. 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Liberty High School Performing Arts Center, 850 Second St. Each candidate will make an opening statement and answer questions submitted by the community via www.curbrentwood.com.
