The Brentwood Run for Fun’ds Committee would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the parents’ clubs, families, teachers, volunteers and sponsors that supported the inaugural BUSD Run for Fun’ds event held on Saturday, Sept. 11.

It was an outstanding event attended by many of our BUSD families and community members. It was amazing to watch the enthusiasm from the participants to see how many laps they could complete to help raise money for our schools and promote a healthy lifestyle.

It wouldn’t have been possible without the following sponsors who donated money, goods or services to this event: John Muir Health, Sutter East Bay Hospitals, Kaiser Permanente, Rotary, Minute Man Press, Tri-Counties Bank, G&S Farms, Stonebarger family, Centerline Striping – Elk Grove, James Buchanan, Pam and Fred Ehler, Zeigler Insurance Group, CalState Teach – Ed Fox, Delta Pure Water etc, 925 Designs, Tumble Time Bus, Got-A-Party, www.everythingbrentwood.com, Deborah Miller, The Golf Club at Brentwood, J&J Foods, Dezign Studios, Foster Farms, Freshpoint, Kellogg’s, Campbell’s, Dreyers, Starbucks, Brentwood fire and police departments, Brentwood Press, Black Diamond Gymnastics, Dan Torres with New York Life, Harvest Park Bowl; and our vendors: Jamba Juice, Sticky Chicken & Ribs, Straw Hat Pizza, Emilia Freking, and Alisa Prien with Mary Kay.

Additionally, we would like to thank the current Brentwood Idol, Jordyn Foley, for singing the national anthem, Troop 21 for presenting the flag ceremony, and Lisa Siemers for her beautiful photography. Lastly, we would like to thank the staff of the Brentwood Union School District office, especially Scott Anderson, Debby Luttenberger, Denise Barrios, Phyllis Thivierge and Larry Sudweeks, for their endless hours and support, and Bart Schneider for being a wonderful emcee and sound technician. We hope to see this event grow each year so we can continue to help our schools and ultimately our children and the future of Brentwood. Thank you!
