Falcons hit AP heights

Sixteen Freedom High School students have been recognized for their exceptional performances on the spring 2010 Advanced Placement (AP) exams.

Samuel Carey qualified for both the AP Scholar With Distinction Award – for earning an average of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3.0 or higher on five or more of these exams – and the National AP Scholar Award by earning an average score of 4.0 or higher on a five-point scale on all AP exams taken, and scores of 4.0 or higher on eight or more of the exams.

Doran Looper qualified for the AP Scholar With Honor Award by earning an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken.

Elizabeth Bailey, Jason Cabbiness, Leah Dedmon, Elizabeth Franco, Katie Freels, LeaAnne Galay, Julianna Johnson, Christina Klein, Daniel Kwak, Frederick Lim, Burhan Mehmood, Gianna Pacini, Jim Ramirez and Pamela Yeshewas qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP exams with scores of three or higher.
