In what has become an annual staple for both car enthusiasts and hungry people, Rick and Linda Wilson at Brentwood Napa Car Parts held their sixth annual Car Show, benefiting the Brentwood Regional Community Chest.

More than 100 entries were featured in this year’s event and more than 25 sponsors supported the cause. Participants helped raise nearly $3,000 and contribute several boxes of toys and food for the Community Chest’s annual Christmas Basket program, getting the Brentwood charity off to a good start for the holiday season. Live music by Savage Lands and a surprise appearance by the Gorilla Rilla added to the fun, and 25 awards were given out for various categories of vehicles.

“Brentwood Auto Parts has been a huge supporter for many, many years, not only with their car show, but they keep a donation box at their register all year and have food and toy drives for us,” said Lill Pierce of the Community Chest. “Is it too early to say Merry Christmas?”
