The 16th annual Parade of Lights rolled through Discovery Bay last weekend and thousands of residents and guests lined the streets for a glimpse at the holiday heroes.

“This year’s theme, ‘heroes,’ made this a popular one with float builders,” said Amanda Dove, parade director. “The parade was nearly double the usual size, and the fantastic weather helped. The Patriots Jet Team Foundation, and VFW led the way and participants celebrated heroes from within our community and from our imaginations. It was a loud and beautiful night in Discovery Bay.”
