Coping with a Brain Tumor: For Patients and Caregivers
Learn about cognitive and personality changes, clinical trials and perspectives from patients and caregivers on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Speakers include Marjaneh Moini, MD; Parveen Sra, MPH, CCRC; and Kimberly Miller, PhD.
Couples and Cancer Series
In this monthly program, the focus is on helping relationships through the stress of cancer. This month’s meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. September’s topic is “What Happened to Our Lives? Building a Team in the Face of Chaos.” The meeting, facilitated by Ron Ellis, PhD, will include plenty of time for group discussion.
Healing Yoga Series
Come and be a part of this very important eight-week research study focused on the use of gentle yoga to reduce the severity of cancer treatment side-effects. The program runs Sept. 27 through Nov. 13. Meetings are held Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
