Summer Blaze offers refreshing rec

Summer Blaze Day Camp is back with fun games, sports, swimming and crafts!  This popular drop-in camp is for ages 6 through 11 and runs on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The fee is $10 per day or $45 for a five-day punch card. Camp runs at various sites in Oakley and Summer Blaze begins on June 15. Camp calendars are available at Oakley City Hall, 3231 Main St.

Youth CORE is a service learning camp for youth from grades 6 to 11. Campers participate in community service daily, as well as traditional camp activities including sports, games and crafts with the opportunity to earn free field trips to WaterWorld, Scandia, SunSplash and Discovery Kingdom. Two sessions are offered on weekdays from June 15 through 26 and July 7 through 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The fee is $50 for Oakley residents and $60 for nonresidents for each two-week session.

LEGO Camp is for ages 6 through 12 years old. Two sessions are offered from June 15 to 19 and June 22 to 26, from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee is $160 for Oakley residents and $170 for nonresidents.
