Eric Morford, head coach of the Liberty cross country team, talks about his team's performance at the North Coast Section Championships in Hayward, Calif., Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019. The boys' finished fourth, earning them a trip to the state finals for the first time since 2015, by beating College Park by one point. The girls' team finished seventh, but were the top Bay Valley Athletic League team finisher.
