Lolita Plaza

Passersby might wonder why this intriguing building at A and 18th streets was named after the title character in a Vladimir Nabikov novel.

It wasn’t.

It honors Lolita K. Steinmetz (1907-1995), who served the Lippow Development Company for 47 years with dedication, loyalty and leadership. The company built it in 1975 and re-modeled it in 1995.
