BRENTWOOD Police are seeking the public’s help in locating Halie Helder, a 16-year-old Brentwood resident who has not been at home since Dec. 27.

Halie is described as 5-feet 4-inches tall with red hair and weighs 120 pounds. She left her home voluntarily on Dec. 27 following a disagreement with family, according to Lt. Walter O’Grodnick, and is believed to still be in the area. Family members told police they last saw her on Dec 29 in the parking lot of the Safeway on Second Street in Brentwood.

In situations like these, it is common for a missing minor to hang out at a friend’s home, O’Grodnick said. These cases typically arise during school breaks.

Anyone with information about Hailie or who may have seen her since Dec. 27 is asked to contact Brentwood Police Dispatch at 925-809-7911 or Detective Sares at 925-809-7733.
