Editor: I was disturbed to read in The Press about the crossing guard at Ron Nunn Elementary having to deal with anti-mask protesters shouting racist epitaphs at her, when she was just helping kids reach school safely.

Did you think that she had the power to change the mask rule, or were you just shouting at her for fun, showing the kids in the crosswalk what racist ugliness looks like up close?

Either way, if this is an example of what your side of the school mask debate is like, I don’t want any.
