The holidays are the perfect time to gather with friends and family around a table with delicious food at your favorite restaurant.
Nothing says family like Chianti’s Ristorante, Brentwood’s favorite Italian eatery. They know how to make people feel at home, without the hassle of having to prepare or clean up after a gathering.
“Everyone loves Italian food,” said Al Mancini, co-owner of Chianti’s Ristorante. “We love celebrations and gatherings and treat our guests like family.”
Mancini, who has more than 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry, co-owns the restaurant with his son Shayan Rahimi. Mancini recently sold his other popular Chianti’s Ristorante in Pleasanton to focus all of his efforts on the Brentwood business, which he said feels like home to his guests.
Part of treating guests like family means preparing everything from scratch with the freshest ingredients at prices families can afford.
“We know Brentwood is a family town and want people to choose us because of our high-quality freshness and low prices,” said Mancini.
Chianti’s Ristorante offers traditional Italian dishes like chicken piccata, chicken Parmesan, Italian meatballs and lamb osso buco, as well as a variety of seafood and vegetarian dishes. Their menu also features New York strip steak topped with cabernet mushroom sauce and a variety of raviolis, from traditional beef to butternut squash to artichoke.
Even the desserts are made from scratch, including the Italian classic tiramisu and crème brulee.
“I love eating at Chianti’s,” said Brentwood resident Stephanie Dourgarian. “As soon as you walk in, you’re hit with this amazing aroma that makes you feel like you’re stepping into an old-style Italian kitchen, and the food is outstanding.”
Antioch resident Jill Graham recently celebrated a birthday at Chianti’s Ristorante with a group of friends.
“This is such a great spot to go to for an authentic Italian experience,” said Graham. “The food and service was exceptional, but our favorite part was meeting the owner. Al visited our table with his favorite bottle of wine and really made the night memorable.”
The staff at the eatery strives to make guests dining experiences special. Customers can ask for special menu requests and if it’s possible, the kitchen will customize dishes for them. The only thing Mancini won’t budge on is sharing his recipes, which are family treasures tracing back to his Northern Italian roots.
The restaurant has a kids’ menu, which features classic Italian dishes at great prices, and takes lunch and dinner reservations, making dining out even easier.
Chianti’s Ristorante is open with regular hours on Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and New Years Day. The restaurant is closed on Christmas.
