Tennis camp

Freedom High School is offering weeklong tennis camps this summer, led by U.S. Professional Tennis Association-certified coach Steve Amaro.

Sessions run June 20 to 23; June 27 to 30; and July 5 to 9. Sessions for those in grades two through eight run from 8:30 to 10 a.m.; grades nine through 12 from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. The courts will also be open from noon to 1 p.m. The cost is $40 per week and four unopened containers of tennis balls per student. Attendees are required to wear nonmarking-soled tennis shoes and bring a tennis racquet.
